YouTube’s Youth Director of Product Management James Besser explained that a type of AI called machine learning will help YouTube estimate the real age of users regardless of the date of birth listed on the account, using various factors such as what types of videos were watched? And how old are the accounts?

In this regard, the technology company said in its statement that this method has already been successfully used in many other fields.

The statement also said that with the help of AI, a notification will be sent to users whose age is in doubt, after which users will be able to verify their age through a credit card, selfie or ID card.
