Kejriwal furious over ED action against Saurabh Bhardwaj, said- Modi government wants to suppress our voice
The former Chief Minister of Delhi said that AAP will not be afraid of such actions and will continue to raise the voice of the people in the interest of the country. AAP is not one of those who are afraid of these raids of BJP. We will continue to raise our voice against wrong policies and corruption in the interest of the country as always.
Former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday targeted the central government after the raid at the residence of Aam Aadmi Party leader Saurabh Bhardwaj and said that this action is being taken because AAP is the most vocal voice against the Center. He said that the ED raid at Saurabh Bhardwaj’s residence is another case of “misuse” of agencies by the central government and no party has targeted AAP before this like BJP.
Kejriwal wrote on ‘X’ that the ED raid at Saurabh Bhardwaj’s house is another case of misuse of agencies by the Modi government. The Modi government is after the Aam Aadmi Party. The way AAP is being targeted has never happened with any party in history. AAP is being targeted because it is the most vocal voice against the wrong policies and corrupt actions of the Modi government. The Modi government wants to suppress our voice. This will never happen.

Apart from Arvind Kejriwal, former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia also targeted the BJP after this incident and said that these raids have been conducted after the big revelations on PM Modi’s degree on Monday. He said that it has come to light that PM Modi’s degree is “fake” and he has lied to the country, so raids are being conducted at Saurabh Bhardwaj’s residence to divert attention from this issue.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) today carried out searches at the residence of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and former Delhi health minister Saurabh Bharadwaj in connection with a money laundering probe linked to alleged irregularities in hospital construction projects in the national capital. Based on a specific information, the raids began early in the morning at 13 locations in the Delhi-NCR region, including Bharadwaj’s residence. The searches are being conducted under Section 17 of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002 (PMLA).

The searches are in connection with an Enforcement Case Information Report (ECIR) filed in the Delhi hospital construction scam, which relates to a First Information Report (number 37/2025) dated June 26, 2025, registered by the Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) of Delhi Police against former health ministers of the Delhi government, private contractors and unknown government officials.
