Two Sikh taxi drivers fatally attacked in Britain

Two elderly Sikh taxi drivers have been subjected to brutal racially motivated violence in Britain.

64-year-old Satnam Singh and 72-year-old Jasbir Sangha told the British Broadcasting Corporation that they were suddenly attacked by three men earlier this month.

According to foreign media, Satnam Singh was knocked to the ground and severely beaten, during which his turban was also removed, while Jasbir Sangha suffered two broken ribs as a result of the attack.

Satnam Singh had to tell the media that when the attacker threw me to the ground and punched me, I thought I was dead. When I woke up, I saw that I was not wearing a turban. At that moment, I felt as if my life had gone.

On the other hand, Jasbir Sangha also described the incident as horrific and said that everything happened so fast that I didn’t even get a chance to defend myself. I was just trying to save myself but in an instant, I fell to the ground and the attackers started kicking me. Anything could have happened, I could have been killed.

According to foreign media reports, the British Transport Police arrested 3 youths after the incident, but they were later released on bail.

The British police have registered the case as a ‘racial and prejudiced attack’.
