UAE sends condolences to martyred IAF pilot, stands with India on Dubai air show accident
Foreign Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal wrote. The UAE Foreign Ministry had earlier issued a statement, “The UAE expresses solidarity with India and offers condolences on the plane crash during the air show in Dubai,” which stated that an Indian Air Force pilot died in the crash of an aircraft participating in the event.
The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) thanked the United Arab Emirates for expressing solidarity and condolences to India on the death of an Indian Air Force pilot in a Tejas aircraft crash during an air show in Dubai. Responding to the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) statement, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal wrote. According to a statement, the United Arab Emirates expresses its solidarity and deepest condolences to the Republic of India over the tragic incident that occurred today (Friday), resulting in the death of an Indian Air Force pilot in the crash of an aircraft participating in an air show in Dubai.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs further stated that the UAE expresses its heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the pilot’s family, as well as to the Government and people of India, on this tragic incident. This message from the UAE comes at a time when India is mourning the death of Wing Commander Namnash Syal.
An Indian Air Force Tejas aircraft crashed at the Dubai Air Show 2025 on Friday, resulting in the death of Indian Air Force pilot Wing Commander Namnash Syal. The Wing Commander’s last rites were performed on Sunday in his native village, Patialkar, Kangra, Himachal Pradesh.
