According to a statement, the United Arab Emirates expresses its solidarity and deepest condolences to the Republic of India over the tragic incident that occurred today (Friday), resulting in the death of an Indian Air Force pilot in the crash of an aircraft participating in an air show in Dubai.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs further stated that the UAE expresses its heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the pilot’s family, as well as to the Government and people of India, on this tragic incident. An Indian Air Force Tejas aircraft crashed at the Dubai Air Show 2025 on Friday, resulting in the death of Indian Air Force pilot Wing Commander Namnash Syal. The Wing Commander’s last rites were performed on Sunday in his native village, Patialkar, Kangra, Himachal Pradesh.
