A boat carrying aid to the besieged Palestinians in Gaza has been hit by an alleged drone attack, which has set the boat on fire.

The aid convoy was carrying 350 human rights activists and aid workers, including Swedish activist Greta Thunberg.
According to media reports, the Portuguese-flagged ship was targeted off the coast of North Africa.

The group says its main boat, which was carrying members of the steering committee, was targeted. The crew and all members survived the attack.
The members vowed to continue their peaceful efforts to deliver aid to the Palestinians.

It should be noted that this convoy, consisting of 20 boats carrying people from 44 countries, is being described as the largest aid convoy ever.
