Dubai’s population reaches all-time high
The population of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) was 2 million in 2011, which has now increased to 4 million in 2025.
In this regard, the Dubai Data and Statistics Establishment released figures, according to which in 1975, Dubai’s population was only 187,000.
If the current pace continues, Dubai’s population could reach 5 million in 2032 and 6 million in 2039. The increase in population will increase the demand for housing, education, health and public transport.
Urban management experts say that Dubai is an attractive place for investors, professionals, millionaires and billionaires.
According to economists, the increasing population in Dubai can increase inflationary pressure, traffic congestion and the possibility of new residential societies being built due to the increase in population.
In this regard, economic experts say that the Metro Blue Line, a major means of transportation in Dubai, and new retail projects will play an important role.
