Fraud and abuse case against Sanjay Leela Bhansali

A case of cheating, inappropriate behavior and abuse has been registered against Bollywood’s famous filmmaker and producer Sanjay Leela Bhansali and two other people.

Indian media reported, citing police sources, that the complaint was filed by a person named Prateek Raj Mathur in the city of Bikaner in the Indian state of Rajasthan, claiming that Sanjay Leela Bhansali had given him a contract as a line producer for Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal’s upcoming film “Love and War” but later cancelled it.

Mathur said that he was making necessary arrangements for the film’s shoot and during this time, when he went to a hotel to meet the film’s team, Bhansali and his associates misbehaved with him.

Bikaner Sadar Circle Officer Vishal Jangeet told the media that Prateek Mathur on Monday accused Bhansali and two other members of his team, Arvind Gill and Utkarsh Bali, of removing him from the project without any payment.

He added that the FIR was registered on charges of fraud, conspiracy and criminal intimidation following a court order.
