If the peace plan is not signed within 4 days, there will be hell, Trump warns Hamas
According to the plan, a transitional authority will be formed after the war, which will be led directly by Donald Trump himself
US President Donald Trump has given Hamas a deadline of three to four days to respond to the peace plan presented to end the Gaza war.
The plan has been presented with the support of Israel and includes a ceasefire, the release of hostages by Hamas within 72 hours, the complete disarmament of the organization and the gradual withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza.
According to the plan, a transitional authority will be formed after the war, which will be led directly by Donald Trump himself. World powers, including Arab and Muslim countries, have welcomed the proposal, but Hamas has not yet formally responded.
Trump made it clear that “if it is not signed, there will be consequences.” “We just need one signature, and if they don’t get it, they’ll face hell,” the US president told military officers in Virginia.
According to Palestinian sources, Hamas has begun consultations with its political and military leadership at home and abroad, which could take several days due to the complexities. Qatar has also announced that it will meet with Hamas and Turkey to advance the plan.
Under the plan, Hamas would be completely excluded from the future government, but members who adopt a peaceful political role would be granted amnesty. The deal also includes a phased withdrawal of Israeli troops, which would be part of an end to the war that has been going on since October 2023.
