Loneliness was eating me up inside, Shilpa Shirodkar

Senior Bollywood actress and former photo model Shilpa Shirodkar says that loneliness was eating her up abroad. The 52-year-old Shilpa, who worked in Hindi films from 1989 to 2000, told why she returned to India after living outside the country for 25 years.

It should be noted that Shilpa left the UK and New Zealand to settle down in Mumbai again. On this occasion, she said that she was worried about the life of loneliness and vowed that she would never leave India again.

Shilpa Shirodkar, who hails from Mumbai, started her career in 1989 with the film Bharshtachar opposite the then famous hero Mithun Chakraborty. Later, she worked in Hum, Khuda Gawah and Aankhen.
During a conversation with actress Dilnaz Irani, when she was asked why she left India at the peak of her career and why she decided to return. So she said the reason was loneliness for many years and the desire to return to the midst of her loved ones.

Shilpa admitted that although she kept traveling around the world with her husband outside India because he worked while her daughter was in school, she never felt settled anywhere. It was a lonely experience, in my 25 years of married life, I had never lived in the same country, loneliness was eating me up inside.
