Indian comedian Kapil Sharma has been provided security by Mumbai Police as there have been two shooting incidents at his cafe in Canada in the last 1 month.

According to Indian media reports, 43-year-old Kapil Sharma opened Caps Cafe in Canada earlier this year under a foreign business venture.

The Indian comedian’s cafe was targeted in shooting incidents on July 10 and August 7, in which no one was injured, but the consecutive attacks have raised serious security concerns.

Canadian police have not yet named the institution that was targeted in the shooting, but media reports have said that the cafe targeted in the attack belongs to Kapil Sharma.

Canadian police are investigating both the shooting incidents, which are assessing whether the shootings are linked to any major criminal activity.
