Saif Ali Khan’s sister Saba Ali Sultan suddenly arrived in Bhopal, what was the inspection of the accounts of the Royal Waqf Committee?

Bhopal: Saba Ali Sultan, the heiress of Nawab Hamidullah of Bhopal and daughter of film actress Sharmila Tagore, unexpectedly arrived in Bhopal on Tuesday. It is worth mentioning that she is also the trustee of the Royal Waqf Committee. Upon reaching Bhopal, she first interacted with the members of the Royal Waqf Committee.

She then went to the Madhya Pradesh Waqf Board headquarters, where she held a meeting with the board’s chairman Sanawar Patel. They discussed in detail the management of the Waqf Board’s properties under the new law. Saba Sultan is the elder sister of Saif Ali Khan.

Saba Ali Sultan, while talking to reporters in Bhopal, said, “A lot has changed in Bhopal in the last 8 to 10 years. There has also been a lot of change in the Waqf Board, you must have felt it too. We have made many changes in the Royal Endowment.

We have changed the old members in our team and kept adding new ones, due to which we have been working better, due to this the income of the Royal Endowment has also increased and we have also felt the change.”
Saba Sultan expressed support for the new Waqf Bill

Madhya Pradesh Waqf Board Chairman Sanwar Patel said, “The trustee of the Royal Endowment Board, Saba Sultan, has expressed support for the new Waqf Board Bill introduced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
She has also directed that the properties of the Royal Endowment be registered on the UMID portal under the new Waqf Bill.” The annual income of the Royal Endowment was earlier Rs. 5 to 5 lakh. But now after deducting expenses, this income has reached Rs 1.83 crore.

The committee has calculated Rs 1 crore 3 lakh.

Saba Sultan’s sudden arrival in Bhopal
Sanur Patel explained, “Saba Sultan arrived in Bhopal unexpectedly at around 11 am. After discussions with the Royal Auqaf Committee, she went to the Madhya Pradesh Waqf Board office, where she directed them to take action under the new Waqf Bill.
During this, we informed her about the Madhya Pradesh Waqf Board’s “Beti Padhao, Beti Bachao” campaign, she agreed to the campaign and said that it should be run in other places as well. Saba Sultan returned from Bhopal to Mumbai at 4 pm.

Provision of ambulances and AC hearse
Sanur Patel explained, “Saba Sultan has directed that the income of the Royal Auqaf should be used for social works to better serve the people of the society. He directed to run free ambulances and provide AC morgues in the former princely areas of Bhopal, Sehore and Raisen.
