Violent protests, army takes up positions in different areas in Nepal

The army has taken up positions in different areas in the chaotic country of Nepal.

According to a foreign news agency, 22 people were killed and more than 500 were injured in clashes with security forces in Nepal.

On the other hand, all 1,500 prisoners were released from Lalitpur jail.

Kathmandu Airport is still closed for all flights, but Bhairawa Airport has been set on fire.

It should be noted that the youth in Nepal took to the streets against corruption when the government banned 26 websites, including social media sites. However, after the protest, the government lifted the ban on social media.

According to media reports, the homes of several political leaders, including former Nepali Prime Ministers Pushpa Kamal Dahal alias Prachanda, Sher Bahadur Deuba and Energy Minister Deepak Khadka, were also damaged and attacked by protesters.

Nepali Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli resigned from his post after violent riots.
