Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk has revealed that his wife Shivan Zels is of Indian origin and is adopted.
Speaking in a recent podcast, Elon Musk revealed that one of his sons has the middle name ‘Shikhar’, named after Indian-American physicist and Nobel laureate Subrahmanyam Chandrasekhar.
According to Elon Musk, his wife, Shivan Zels, grew up in Canada. Shivan was adopted as a child, while all that is known about his father is that he came from India as a student at a Canadian university.
Shivan Zels joined Musk’s company Neuralink in 2017, where she currently works as the Director of Operations and Special Projects.
Elon Musk’s wife, Shivan, holds degrees in economics and philosophy from Yale University.
Musk and Zelis have four children, including twin sons Strider and Azure, daughter Arcadia, and son Seldon Lycurgus.
